Like frogs, salamanders include amphibians. But indeed its existence is less popular so many people do not know this animal.
Although at a glance it looks similar, a salamander is different from a lizard. The main difference, of course, is that salamanders are amphibians, whereas lizards are reptiles. But apart from that there are still other differences.
Lizards breathe with lungs. While salamanders consist of various species with different respirators. Some breathe with lungs, some breathe with gills, and some even breathe with skin because they don’t have lungs or gills.
Another difference is that lizards have 4 legs, while salamanders have 4 legs and some have only 2 legs. Scaly lizard skin, salamander skin smooth and moist. And one more thing, not like a lizard that can live in a dry place, salamanders must live in a place near a water source.
