Have you ever seen this animal before? If so, they look very unique, yes. This animal is named okapi. They have a characteristic, namely the black-and-white lines on some of their bodies, like those of zebras.
Okapi (Okapia johnstoni) is an endemic animal in Central Africa. They live in the Ituri Rain Forest, Democratic Republic of the Congo.
When viewed from its physical form, especially the dappled patterns on its body, okapi looks similar to zebra. However, actually, they have no kinship at all. Okapi is a member of the Giraffidae family. That means, they are closely related and become the only relatives of the giraffe.
